Hemshikha

Trend research for S/S 25 (drapes, fit-and-flare, bubble hems, cutouts, asymmetric hemlines and corsetry) distilled into seven dresses. Each design was specified down to fabric, neckline, closure and seam detail, then sampled. The white A-line dress was taken through a full tech pack graded XS–XXL.

Four co-ordinated sets: a blue linen V-neck top with wide-leg shorts, a white and orange shirt with contrast-panel trousers, a soft-denim notch-collar blazer with bootcut flares, and a georgette raglan top with a denim pencil skirt. Each was specified, graded XS–XXL in a full tech pack and shot as a finished sample.

Inspired by summer gardens: blooming florals, soft textures and feminine silhouettes with a carefree, romantic mood. Research into necklines, gathers, ruffles and watercolour florals led to two original prints, each taken through colourways and flat sketches to finished dresses.
